    seen in woodland areas. The
    trees are known to provide a vast
    amount of shade when fully matured.
     
    Japanese Maples are native to Japan, but are
    also seen in areas of Korea, China and
    in eastern areas of Mongolia.

    The plant is often grown as a small tree
    But sometimes reaches heights of 20-40 ft
    tall. The leaves are 1-4 inches
    long and wide with 5-7
    points on them.
